According to the demand for neutral ink in China, it will cost more than 10 million US dollars to import more than 800 tons of neutral ink a year (the import price of neutral ink per ton is 12,000 US dollars). Therefore, the research and development of neutral ink has considerable market prospects and economic benefits. And the successful research and development of neutral ink will make a positive contribution to China's striving to become a world power in pen-making. The Key Laboratory of Pen-making of Wenzhou University is organizing efforts to develop neutral ink.
